We introduced chatting between you and the shopper delivering your order, making it easier to communicate directly on the app. As long as you have the latest version of the app and access to the internet, the shopper can now reach out to you via chat or call exclusively through the Toters app.
Here's how it works:
On the tracking screen, you'll find a 'chat' and 'call' button under the shopper’s name.
As long as you are connected to the internet, you can either chat or call the shopper delivering your order via in-app communication.
Things you should know:
⚠️ In order for the shopper to have access to contact you during an order, please make sure to update the app to the latest version.
📲 Chats and calls are for free, you just need to be connected to the internet.
😃 Shoppers have a translation option, allowing you to message them in any language.
💬 If you were chatting with a shopper, and your order was assigned to a new shopper, you will no longer have access to the previous chat. Instead, you will be chatting with the newly assigned shopper.
Data Privacy Guaranteed:
Your phone number is not visible to the shopper. They can only contact you using our in-app call and chat features that require internet connectivity.
After your order has been delivered, the shopper no longer has access to contact you.
